Taylor Hayes

Taylor Hayes is a mixed media artist who grew up in Roanoke, Virginia;​ art has always been a part of her life in one way or another. Taylor adventured to Winston-Salem in 2009 to pursue a degree at Salem College where she studied Arts Management and Studio Art.

​She​ currently works full time as the Digital Media & Special Projects Coordinator at Sawtooth School for Visual Art: maintaining the website, online marketing, and digital art programming. Taylor is also a Studio Assistant at Artists in Cellophane: Art-o-mat, a small business that converts old cigarette machines into functional art vending machines.

​In the studio, she enjoys working with acrylic, collage, printmaking, and various materials to ​compose each piece. She makes use of texture, overlapping layers, and strong composition throughout her art.
